A.K. Vijapura MD
Medical Director
Dr. Vijapura has over 35 years of experience in psychiatry, specializing in both acute and chronic mental health conditions, as well as addiction medicine. For the past 20 years, he has served as the acting Medical Director for both inpatient and outpatient care, as well as partial hospitalization programs. He offers an alternative treatment option for acute depression through TMS. Outside of his professional work, Dr. Vijapura is passionate about yoga and meditation and enjoys traveling with his family. He is also dedicated to exploring innovative approaches to treating mental illness.
Misti Davenport
Hello, my name is Misti Davenport, and I am Dr. Vijapura Business Partner & Provider for Mid Florida TMS Center, I have over 31 years of experience in healthcare, with 21 years as a Registered Nurse and 13 years as a Nurse Practitioner. I’m passionate about providing exceptional care to my patients. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, caring for my plants, and bonding with my pets—cats, dogs, and birds. At A.K. Vijapura MD PA & Associates, we are dedicated to offering compassionate care to all of our patients.
Tametra Woodward
Hi, my name is Tametra, and I’m a TMS Manager here at Mid Florida TMS Centers & A.K. Vijapura MD PA & Associates. It’s an honor to be part of such an incredible team, where everyone’s main goal is to make a positive impact on others’ lives. Seeing the improvements in the lives of our patients is truly rewarding. I’m passionate about what I do, and my priority is to ensure you feel comfortable and receive the highest level of care. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my children, practicing meditation, and enjoying hikes in nature. I look forward to meeting you and guiding you through this journey.

Amilin Mathews
Hi, my name is Amilin Mathews. I previously worked as a Mental Health Technician in Chicago and have a strong background in psychology. My current position is as a TMS Technician, and I’m passionate about helping patients achieve meaningful improvements in their lives through evidence-based treatments such as TMS. I’m happy to be part of this wonderful, supportive team and work alongside such dedicated staff. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending time with my family and pets.
